Description

Isolation transformer is a kind of dry type transformer where primary is isolated from the secondary. Isolation Transformer has two windings per phase. Isolation between windings will provide protection against electric shock. Isolation Transformers are built with special insulation between primary and secondary to withstand a high voltage between windings. Isolation Transformers maintain equipment separation from power source. This will help users to keep sensitive items such as healthcare and laboratory equipment powered and protected. Single phase and three phase units are available in 60HZ or 50HZ designs.
